Centuries Old Recipes for Turkish Cuisine
A heritage cookbook visual system—crafted from styling to print-ready delivery.
A heritage cookbook requires more than beautiful images. It needs a cohesive visual language that respects tradition while feeling contemporary, clean, and truly appetizing—across every chapter and recipe. In addition, the entire set had to meet print production requirements (color accuracy, resolution, layout-safe framing).
Culinary heritage is not just about the food itself, but the warmth and gathering culture around the table. Authenticity comes from natural light, tactile props, and capturing honest textures without artificial over-styling.
An end-to-end editorial system: We managed the entire creative pipeline from art direction and styling to high-resolution photography and press-ready color profiles.
An internationally acclaimed culinary volume setting a benchmark for gastronomy publishing with uncompromising color accuracy and visual depth.
Objectives
- Establish a unified visual language across the whole publication
- Create authentic, appetite-driven photography that honors Turkish culinary heritage
- Deliver a print-ready asset system: technically flawless, consistent, and easy for layout/prepress
- Own the process end-to-end to minimize revision loops
Our Role (Food Art Studio)
We handled the project from creative direction to final prepress delivery:
- Creative Direction & Art Direction
- Food Styling (prop logic, texture, garnish, plating decisions)
- Photography (repeatable lighting built for print consistency)
- Color consistency & print preparation workflow
